As the cool breeze whispers, a splendid tapestry painted by red maples, golden ginkgos and russet-red dawn redwoods gradually unfolds across SIP. Between modern architecture and serene lakeshores, the park reveals a rich, poetic landscape of the season.
In the Putian Eco-agriculture Park at Yangchenghu Peninsula, a 2-kilometer-long avenue stretches straight ahead, flanked by maple trees that form a dazzling red corridor.
The Red Maple Grove, as the largest maple-viewing spot in SIP, is home to over 500 maple trees that are gradually turning fiery red.
On the Taohua Island, the ring of colorful trees along the lake shore gives the island a warm hug. A bird’s-eye view is particularly stunning.
At Suzhou Culture and Arts Centre, the season’s charm lies not only in the overwhelming colors of trees, but also in the harmony between art and nature.
Near Suzhou Eslite Bookstore, a
ginkgo-lined promenade composes warm verses for city dwellers. Golden leaves
form a radiant screen, while fallen foliage and sleek architectural lines
create a visually striking, geometric composition.
At Moon Harbor, beautiful trees form a splendid picture with the Jinji Lake on one side and the well-designed restaurants on the other. The expansive sky and soft light envelop the space in seasonal ambiance, transforming it into a grand piece of landscape art.
Along the Suzhou Avenue, flanked by modern skyscrapers, the golden hues of ginkgos add the brightest seasonal tones to this urban canvas.
The banks of Xietang River are lined by dawn redwoods. Afternoon sunlight filters through reddish-gold leaves, casting dappled shadows on the path and turning the riverside into a breathtaking oil painting.
The reddish-brown dawn redwood forest at Egret Garden presents a symmetrical scene of upright trunks and their reflections in the water. A wooden-board path winds through the trees, while waterbirds skim the water surface, adding life to the tranquil setting.
Baitang Arboretum, an open public space, becomes even more tranquil and poetic in autumn and winter. Deep within the space, the winding stone bridge over water and the redwoods on the shore form a harmonious scene.
