SIP authorities held a meeting on Jan 6 to make deployment for advancing new industrialization at a faster pace this year.

At the event, SIP authorities invited people from all walks of life including entrepreneurs, experts, scholars and startup founders to join SIP’s innovation and development.

The 2025 SIP Action Plan of Advancing New Industrialization was unveiled as a guidance for related work over this year. It encompasses the annual goals and the measures of achieving them.

SIP aims to increase the total output value of industrial enterprises above the designated size to more than RMB720 billion, increase the number of “little giant” enterprises to over 180, and introduce 1,000 sci-tech projects, to name a few.

The event also included an award ceremony where a number of enterprises received honours for their high performance in manufacturing, producer services, investment, and intelligent, green and/or integrated development.
