The Yangcheng Lake area has given visitors unique, unforgettable memories during the months-long SIP Golden Autumn ? Three Lakes Carnival that started in September. A variety of events were held for participants to taste the seasonal Yangcheng Lake hairy crabs while enjoying a colorful trip integrating multiple elements such as sports and culture.

Following the start of Yangcheng Lake hairy crabs harvesting in September, a series of crab-themed events were held across Yangchenghu Peninsula Tourist Resort, attracting many tourists.

A highlight was the crab cooking competition where about 40 chefs from hotels and restaurants competed in creating distinctive crab feasts.

Main commercial complexes like Suzhou Village and Longfor Suzhou Paradise Walk hosted crab-themed fairs and bazaars where participants could taste food cooked with crabs and buy creative products such as crab-shaped toys and sugar paintings.

Additionally, a design contest was held to encourage designs inspired by crabs.

In addition to satisfying their taste buds, people visiting the resort this autumn had chances to watch international-level sports events, such as the 2025 WTA 125 Suzhou Open, the 2025 ATP Challenger Tour ― Suzhou Open, and the PROJAM 2025.

Other events included concerts, a lakeside drama festival and art exhibitions.
